Laser vascular treatment

With the help of certain medical lasers, it is now possible to target the affected area and effectively treat vascular lesions.

WHAT CAN THE LASER TREAT?

The laser can treat superficial (cutaneous) lesions of the body, such as angiomas and ruby spots, and small varicosities (telangiectasia) usually seen on the lower extremities.

WHAT TYPE OF SKIN CAN BE TREATED BY LASER?

Any type of skin can receive vascular treatments.

WHY CHOOSE LASER VASCULAR TREATMENT OVER ANY OTHER PROCEDURE?

Vascular laser treatments are generally much less painful and can be performed much faster and yield just as impressive results as the many other treatments available today (sclerotherapy endogenous ablation). But please be aware that some of these lesions are sometimes better treated surgically depending on their diameters.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER INITIAL TREATMENTS?

You will see immediate coagulation in the treated area. Healing time varies from person to person. Generally, you should see a significant reduction in what remains to be treated after the second session.

IS A FOLLOW-UP NEEDED?

To avoid the appearance of new varicose veins, and because of the recurrent nature of some pathology, we recommend a follow-up every two years or when you see the appearance of new lesions.

Our technology

At Zena Esthetique we trust laser technology to treat vascular lesions. We have chosen to work with Cutera lasers, an effective solution for treating superficial and sometimes even deep vascular lesions on the face and body. We use Cutera's Xeo - truPulse Nd:YAG Handpiece as we have seen a significant reduction in blue, red and purple lesions while preserving the surrounding skin.
