How does it work?
Vascular laser treatments use a specific wavelength that is absorbed by the hemoglobin in the blood vessels. The heat produced causes the vessel to coagulate, which is then naturally eliminated by the body.
It is an extremely precise method that allows treating small vessels without damaging the surrounding skin.
Thanks to medical laser technology, several superficial areas affected by vascular lesions can be treated.
Which vascular conditions can be treated by laser?
Several superficial vascular conditions of the skin can be treated with laser, including certain angiomas, telangiectasia, varicose veins and others.
Is skin type a contraindication?
No. All skin types can receive the treatment.
Why choose vascular laser treatment?
Vascular laser treatments are generally much less painful, can be performed much more quickly and can deliver results just as impressive as the many other treatments available today, depending on the type of lesion. Some lesions are better treated surgically or by injection (sclerotherapy).
What happens during and after your first session?
You will see immediate coagulation in the treated area. Healing time varies from person to person. Generally, you should see a significant reduction in what remains to be treated after the second session.
Is follow-up necessary?
To prevent new varicose veins from appearing, we recommend follow-up every two years or whenever you notice new lesions.
